You Can’t Quiet THE RIOT
Last year Ryan hit 1 HR. Yesterday he had his first HR in 602 ABs. Today he hit another HR. The Riot now has as many HRs as DLee, A-Ram, and Milton. LOL!!!
I love Theriot but I still don’t think he is that great ****. He has range but not that strong of an arm, barely any power (although these last two games have made me very proud to have the same name 
), in my opinion Theriot would be a perfect for 2b. Benching Fontenot is sad because I also love him, but if we could get a good all around SS that would be awesome. We have a few good shortstops in the minors but they are years away from being ready. Until then I’m happy with Theriot being SS because he gets on base all the time it seems like and he does drive in runs and hit well despite being moved all over the lineup.
Ted Lilly Domination
Ted Lilly decided not only to punish the Marlins by striking them out he decided to crush a double (that was almost his first major league HR) and drive in two runs. He must have been mad at the marlins for not letting him beat them in his last 4 tries. Now the only team he has yet to beat is….the Cubs lol.
Ted Lilly is quietly becoming one of the better lefties in the league. Through the past 2 years he has accumulated over 30 wins and hes got 3 more so far this year. Most people didn’t like this signing when it happened; “Too much money for a mediocre player….blah, blah, blah.”
Well he was well worth the money. Not only for the wins and good pitching, but hes like the only guy that stands up for his teamates that were plunked on purpose, other than Kerry Wood of course. I hope he gets to face the Braves again and the Braves need to STOP THROWING AT SORIANO’S HEAD!!
Anyways back to studying.

Around the NL (4/28/09)
Phillies got a quick scare watching their ace Hamels roll his ankle. Luckily for Hamels, the Phillies, and fantasy owners it is just a mild high ankle sprain. Phillies won anyway despite not having Hamels, courtesy of RAUL !@$#!*# Ibanez who I have the luck of playing in fantasy this week and also Chase Utley.
Somehow there were no pictures of Fowler stealing a base. Wtf were the photographers pointing there cameras at when he was stealing 2nd base and then 3rd base? Was there a pretty butterfly that they just had to snap a few pictures of? UGH
Anyway 5 stolen bases!! Yea. He stole 2nd and then 3rd two times. In four innings he had 4 stolen bases. Chris Young obviously wasn’t paying too much attention to him. All of the sports websites are already crowning Fowler as the next Ricky Henderson.
Look, there will never be another Ricky….there just wont. Fowler should have a great career, if he hits for some more power I would think he becomes more a Soriano type player.

- Mets are gonna let Oliver Perez continue to start despite his uber suckage
